How do I access Flow360?

A secure connection is established between your desktop computer and the Flow360 server. Nothing is actually stored on your desktop computer so you can access Flow360 from any computer, anywhere, any time.

What are the hardware requirements?

Flow360 runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris, Unix and Sparc with zero install on client machines.

What about connection requirements?

Flow360 will run over any type of network connection. We recommend a broadband connection for the best user experience.

Where is my data stored?

The Flow360 servers are installed in a highly secure environment that is continually monitored, mirrored and backed up. Part of our service to you is ensuring that your data is safe and secure and that you have access to it 24 /7.

How secure is the data transmission?

All data is encrypted and transmitted using SSL.

How do I get my data back if I decide to terminate my licence?

All data that relates directly to you will be supplied to you in a standard format such as tab delimited files.

Can I store and access document, maps and plans relating to my sites and assets?

All types of external documents can be stored within flow360 and will therefore be available to you and your team over the internet whenever you want to access them.

Can I access an event history?

Flow360 automatically logs events to create and maintain an event history or audit trail. A variety of event logging options can be set as personal preferences.

What are the costs?

Access to Flow360 is on an annual licence basis. There are no direct software purchase costs and no annual upgrade fees to worry about. The licence is actually split into 2 components , an up-front licence-to-use and a usage fee, both based on the quantity of work that is run through the service.

What about upgrades / updates?

As Flow360 is further developed, new versions will be rolled out. As soon as a new version is available, all users will have access to the new facilities - there are no upgrade or update fees.
